Sushma Swaraj born on 14th February,1952 at Ambala Cantonment to Shri Hardev Sharma and Shrimati Laxmi Devi.Her father was an eminent member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.As of today,on 6th August,2019 she passes away.
Today,Swaraj’s brother Dr.Gulshan Sarma is an Ayurvedic Doctor based in Ambala.
In 2015,while being the External Affairs Minister of India, she was the Guest of Honour of 16th World Sanskrit Conference held in Thailand.The Conference was participated by over 600 participants from 60 countries.Being the Guest of Honour,she delivered her speech in Sanskrit.
During the visit,a MOU was signed between Thailand and India on her presence for establishment of Nalanda University.Also a MOU was signed between the two countries on the establishment of an Ayurvedic Chair in one of the Thai Universities.
Also in the year 2015,at the inauguration of the 13th Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas,Swaraj encouraged the Indian Diaspora to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the country pointing to the contribution of the Indians like giving ‘Zero’ to the world,knowledge of medicine with Ayurveda.

In the later part of her life she was diagnosed with Kidney failure,of which she later underwent Transplant,in AIIMS.
Her life has been full of inspiring and can be seen as an example of what hardwork can payback us.
